Captivated by the human form's fragility and dominance, I grew up focused on wholeness, influenced by my paralyzed toolmaker father. Trained to observe closely, I expanded my art from tools to living forms. My sculptures and drawings explore bodies in ambiguous metamorphosis, adapting to challenges. Using clay for its plasticity, I graft parts together, creating heroic yet absurd forms that defy anatomical correctness. These figures challenge conventional responses, representing my quest for wholeness and truth.
